Ngoc Hue

Ngọc Huệ (1968-    ) is a famous overseas Vietnamese singer.

From early on, Ngọc Huệ had taken a keen interest in performing arts.  While growing up in Saigon, she had already studied ballet and acting prior to reaching her teenage years.  From 1977 until 1979, Ngọc Huệ had taken voice lessons at Quốc Gia Âm Nhạc, University of Ho Chi Minh City, School of Fine Arts.  In 1981, she resettled in Sydney, Australia.  While in Australia, Ngọc Huệ began her career as a professional overseas Vietnamese singer.  In 1990, Ngọc Huệ resettled in the United States and began recording for such labels like New Castle EntertainmentDiễm Xưa, Hải Âu, Tektronic, Mai Productions and Thúy Nga.   In just one year, she was voted by Hồn Việt Magazine as "Giọng Ca Mới Của Năm 90" (New Singer of the Year in 1990).  She even formed her own production label called Fame Productions in the 1990s.  Ngọc Huệ has recorded duet albums with Anh TúKỳ AnhDon Hồ and Nhật Trường.

In 1992, Ngọc Huệ made her debut appearance on Thúy Nga's Paris By Night video series on volume 16 with a solo performance of Prisoner (written by Alan Nguyễn) along with a duet performance with Don Hồ of the song, Hạnh Phúc Trong Tim.  Throughout the 1990s, Ngọc Huệ was invited back on the Paris By Night video series on several occasions performing in duets with Don Hồ and Thái Tài.  Her last appearance to date on the series was on volume 55 in 2000 with a solo performance of the song, Thu Vàng Trên Lói (written by Khúc Lan).

Ngọc Huệ has performed live in concerts for Vietnamese audiences all over the United States, Canada, Europe including Russia, Australia and Vietnam.

Trường Hải

Trường Hải  (1938-    ) is a famous Vietnamese singer and songwriter. Tạ Trường Hải was born in 1938 in the town of Sóc Trăng, South Vietnam.  At the age of 18, he along with fellow aspiring musician,  Thanh Sơn , traveled to Saigon to enter a national singing contest.  Trường Hải's performance of the song,  Gặp Nhau  (written by Hoàng Thi Thơ ), placed him in second behind his friend, Thanh Sơn, who had become the winner of the contest.  For the next several years, Trường Hải found work as a guitarist and saxophone player for various bands at some of the top cabarets in Saigon such as Kim Sơn , Hòa Bình and  Đại Nam .  While working at these nightclubs, Trường Hải began his career as a songwriter.  His first published song was  Còn Nhớ Tôi Không .  Other popular songs written by Trường Hải include  Những Chiều Không Có Em , which was originally recorded and made famous by singer  Hùng Cường ,  Nhịp Đàn Vui and Tình Ca Người Đi Biển .  In the early 1970s, Trường Hải formed his o

Trizzie Phương Trinh (1966-    ) is a beautiful overseas Vietnamese singer.   Born as Nguyễn Thị Phương Trinh on September 2, 1966 in Saigon, South Vietnam, at the age of 13 she resettled with her family in the United States.   Trizzie Phương Trinh began her professional singing career while in her early twenties when she was discovered by musician/singer  Quốc Sĩ , original founding member of The Magic Band .  Instantaneously,  Trizzie Phương Trinh was able to garner a large following of loyal fans with her energetic style of live performing, striking beauty and alluring stage presence.  She recorded for such labels like  Do Ré Mi ,  Làng Văn and  Thúy Anh .   Trizzie Phương Trinh became famous for such recordings of songs like Don't Leave Me This Way , Final Countdown , I Don't Like to Sleep Alone and  Carrie.   She recorded duets with other singers such as  Trung Hành ,  Thái Tài and  Đon Hồ .  In Orange County, California  Trizzie Phương Trinh headlined at various major
